I love making big dreams a reality. This vision is what took me from California all the way to Belize, and it’s the same drive that’s led me to partner with the Belize Board of Tourism. I also love to bring people together by planning huge, themed parties and special events.
These slides represent a comprehensive marketing presentation and PDF file I created for the After Art Belize event. I am responsible for nearly every element you see, including the graphics, logos, concepts, and even the drone footage.
My passion lies in this kind of creative planning and strategic mapping, focusing on what sells and anticipating potential pain points. This specific presentation was created and delivered to the Belize Board of Tourism. The president was onboard with my annual event idea and my annual boat show idea in the Sanctuary Marina.
Living in Belize, I was inspired by the country's rich culture and the talent of its local artists. In 2020, while at Sanctuary Belize, I saw the potential for a large-scale event that would celebrate this creativity. My experience attending art events in California, like the Pageant of the Masters and the Sawdust Festival, gave me the vision for an annual art show in Belize. I was so passionate about the idea that I flew to Belize City and pitched it directly to the President of Belize Tourism, along with the concept for an annual boat show. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and we were set to move forward. Then the SCAM took over.
To get my ideas in front of the community at Sanctuary Belize, including neighbors, stakeholders, and investors, I created a placeholder website. The site wasn't designed to be fancy; its purpose was to be a simple, shareable platform to outline my vision. This allowed the concept to quickly circulate to hundreds of people, including a global audience of artists and investors. It was a work in progress as questions were answered and more rose from feedback. Scratch paper via the web.
I asked Sean if he would bring his crew, all his Belizean cooking expertise and do a tasting for all of us living in Sanctuary Belize on Christmas eve. |t went so well, he did it two years in a row.
The event was held in a gorgeous home overlooking Sapodilla Lagoon. The owners had a perfect kitchen for them to spread out and all of us to eat and drink. I love hosting these events.
I remember eating everything he served. The evening lasted at least five hours and there were 40 guests. All of us living there at the time.
These kids were on cloud nine. To be given a chance to get SCUBA Certified for free opened up a whole new world for them. I organized this event with sponsoring and acquiring financial aid.
These two ladies were two of my good buddies while living in Belize. Just awesome women that taught me a lot about Belize and diving and the rich culture. They had the idea to certify kids for free, and I found the money and organized. Great partnering.
Graduation. I heard one of these gentlemen loved it so much he is pursuing a career in Marine Biology. A superb endeavor.
Part of what I do and do well, is take a house that has been neglected and make it better. I had to take this village house in Belize, having only had 2 days to find a place to live with 6 dogs a cat and my stuff. The button below will take you to before and after pictures of having to start over alone in a village in Belize. It gave me the idea of another business. Renovating properties in Belize. That is a big market. Taking Renovations. I made the grouping of logos below as a start for my business model.
A compellation of ads for several business I worked with in Belize a few ideas of others. Every ad made with Adobe.
